Only few startups make it past level 2 or 3. And no amount of discovery will reduce the risk to an insignificant level unless you do things hundreds of people have done before you.
Don't take it personal. As much as it stings.... don't.
an excellent post mortem. what problem do you think you should have been solving though to hit a product market fit? is it discovery or is it confidence + evidence to make the right decisions or is it ability to ship so fast and expose what has been shipped to a user / buyer in insanely short time? or is the problem something else really?
Step one of your journey completed. Good work, keep going!
I'll keep keeping it transparent and update on the progress :)
Thanks for sharing. Next one is gonna work!
thanks malte - another shot at goal
Loved the lessons Niko, good luck!
Thanks Anton. I'll keep sharing and will build more "in public" on the next product

You have gained some valuable lessons, which I'm sure you'll put into practice.

hard to know. many lessons.
the product was about process. getting access to users, implementing regular interviewing, that's all internal process.
and we as a SaaS can't help with that. That was why adoption was so hard.
Shipping faster and getting to that learning point sooner is the only thing I wish we would have managed to do.
Other than that, pretty happy with most of our scope choices and Discovery work.
